Accessibility Statement
Updated: March 19, 2023
An accessible website is a website that allows people with disabilities and older people to surf the internet with the same level of efficiency and enjoyment as any surfer.
About 20 to 25 percent of the population encounters difficulties using the internet and may benefit from more accessible internet content, according to a study conducted in 2003 by Microsoft.
Za'ad Kadima believes in and works for equal opportunities in the internet space for people with various disabilities and/or who rely on assistive technologies for using the computer.
Site Accessibility
This site complies with the requirements of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments for Service), 5773-2013.
The site complies with the recommendations of the Israeli standard (IS 5568) for AA-level content accessibility on the internet and the recommendations of document WCAG2.0 by the W3C organization.
It is also optimized for display in common browsers and for cellular phone use.
Amendments Performed
Strict accessibility adjustments have been made to this site, including, among other things, semantic and informative implementation for assistive technologies, determining navigation and operation with a keyboard only, according to the recommendations of the International Web Standards Organization (W3C), color adjustments, as well as adding auxiliary labels and instructions in the forms for the benefit of all surfers. Additionally, in order to get the best browsing experience with screen reader software, we recommend using the latest NVDA software.
Some of the things done on the site
We have added a keyboard navigation option that makes it easier to browse the site without using a mouse, adjustments to the site's compatibility for browsing with a screen reader, added comfort when viewing the site in black and white/color contrast, the option to block animation and any moving element on the site, and to highlight links.
It should be noted that despite our efforts to make all the website pages accessible, the attached documents (such as PDF, Word, Excel), internal management system, and video files are still in the process of accessibility adjustments and we are working to complete this.
Please note that due to the dynamic nature of the site, minor problems may occur from time to time as it is constantly updated. We are constantly pursuing solutions that will bring all areas of the site to the same level of overall internet accessibility.
If you require a document that is on the website but is not accessible, please contact us with a link to its location and we will take care of it as soon as possible.
If you found a component or a page that is not accessible on the site, we will be delighted to hear from you, we will make sure to fix it as soon as possible.
